Upon successful completion of both parts of the course, students will receive a 2-Year American Heart Association PALS Instructor Card.
PALS Instructor Course Information
- Length: 8 Hours + 6 Hour Student Teaching Session (on a future date)
- Continuing Education (8): RN, RT, LVN, PT, EMT, Paramedic, and Dental
- Candidates must be a licensed or certified healthcare professional
- Candidates must have successfully completed the PALS Provider Course
About El Centro PALS Instructor Courses
Our PALS Instructor Course in El Centro is a comprehensive, blended-learning, multidisciplinary program that provides students the skills necessary to become a PALS Instructor. Instructor Candidates must complete the online portion, followed by the hands-on classroom based course.
The course also educates instructor candidates on how to adequately use AHA instructor teaching materials, ensure that students meet learning objectives, offer student coaching skills, provide an objective skills performance evaluation, and follow AHA instructor and course policies.
