Upon successful completion of the ALSO course in San Diego, students will receive a 3-year American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) Certification.

- Course includes a Pre-Assessment Test and Post-Test Evaluation
- Length: 8 hours online prerequisites / 8 hours in-person training; 16 hours total
- Course Materials & Online Prerequisites included in course fee
- Lunch is provided
- Continuing Education: up to 18 Hours for MD, RN, LVN, APRN, PA, CNM, DO, Licensed Midwife
San Diego ALSO Course Structure
Students will successfully complete required online course elements at their own pace prior to attending the one-day live portion of the course.
The live portion of the course then provides multiple hands-on opportunities for learners to practice their skills and apply what they have learned through interactive group case study workstations, in skills workstations, and simulated hands-on group testing scenarios throughout the day.
