Express Training Solutions El Centro is our fourth Southern California location and offers eight healthcare courses, including both instructor-led and online hybrid classes, as well as several Instructor Courses. Students can register easily online, receive instant access to their educational materials, and begin preparing for the first available class in El Centro immediately after registering.
Courses Currently Offered at Express Training Solutions El Centro:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Our El Centro BLS course is an approved American Heart Association Course designed to provide healthcare professionals with the ability to recognize a variety of life-threatening emergencies, as well as to provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking.
We teach several BLS courses Monday-Saturday, and also offer CE Credit for most healthcare professions. Individuals who complete the course receive a 2-year American Heart Association BLS Certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
This El Centro ACLS course is required for those working in Emergency Rooms, operating rooms, and inpatient wards, or other healthcare settings. The course emphasizes the importance of good CPR to patient survival, the integration of effective basic life support with advanced cardiovascular life support interventions, and the importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation.
Individuals who complete the ACLS course will receive a 2-year American Heart Association ACLS Certification.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
This American Heart Association PALS course is designed to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation, and team dynamics.
The goal of our El Centro PALS Course is to provide training that improves the quality of care for infants and children. Individuals who complete the course will receive a 2-year American Heart Association PALS Certification.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Express Training Solution’s El Centro NRP course is designed for healthcare professionals who care for infants at the time of delivery.
The course teaches causes, prevention, and management of neonatal complications caused from mild to severe asphyxia, as well as cognitive knowledge of NRP concepts and interventions. Individuals who complete the NRP course will receive a 2-year American Pediatrics Certification.
Electrocardiogram (ECG)
Our El Centro ECG Courses introduce healthcare providers to normal cardiac rhythms and prepares them to recognize basic cardiac arrhythmias in clinical practice.
It’s an excellent training addition for those planning to take advanced classes (ACLS & PALS) or who complete a pre-course self-assessment and find they need to improve their knowledge. Individuals who successfully complete this course will receive a Completion Certificate.
First Aid & CPR (Non-Healthcare Courses)
Our El Centro CPR-AED course is designed for non-healthcare workers who need a course completion card for a certain profession or other requirements. This four-hour course teaches students when to phone 911, CPR for adults and children, how to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator), and how to assist someone who is choking. Individuals who complete this course will receive an American Heart Association First Aid & CPR Certification eCard.
Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)
Our PHTLS course in El Centro is designed to be an intensive 16-hour course that promotes critical thinking as the foundation for providing quality care. The program is based on a prehospital trauma care philosophy, stressing the treatment of the multisystem trauma patient as a unique entity with specific needs.
Each class covers comprehensive, evidenced-based materials that incorporate the latest research across all aspects of prehospital trauma. Upon successful completion of the course, individuals will receive a 4-year NAEMT Certification.
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
Our TNCC courses are designed to improve trauma patient outcomes by providing nurses with foundational trauma knowledge, skills, and a systematic Trauma Nursing Process to guide trauma patient care.
After taking our El Centro TNCC course, nurses will be able to systematically assess the trauma patient, assist with interventions, and provide evidence-based trauma nursing care within the context of a trauma team. Upon successful completion of the TNCC course, individuals will receive a 4-year Emergency Nurses Association Certification.
