The Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) introduces the healthcare professional to the concepts and basic skills needed during neonatal resuscitation. NRP uses an evidence-based approach to newborn resuscitation. The course teaches causes, prevention and management of neonatal complications caused from mild to severe asphyxia. It is designed to help develop optimal knowledge and skills healthcare professionals need during a resuscitation.

STEP ONE: Study and Prepare (Before Course)

Complete the online requirements consist of two 25 question exams (Unlimited Attempts) and several eSimulation cases at www.aap.org/nrp($33)

The course is hands-on and can last up to 3 hours
Continuing Education
Express Training Solutions is an approved BRN provider for Continuing Education. Participants may earn up to 3 hours of Continuing Education Credit for the Certification Course. Additional Continuing Education credit is available, up to 9.0 hours, for completion of the self-study portion and online portion from the American Academy of Pediatrics.
