San Diego PALS Instructor Courses
Upon successful completion of both parts of the course, students will receive a 2-Year American Heart Association PALS Instructor Card.
PALS Instructor Course Information
- Length: 8 Hours + 6 Hour Student Teaching Session (on a future date)
- Continuing Education (8): RN, RT, LVN, PT, EMT, Paramedic, and Dental
- Candidates must be a licensed or certified healthcare professional
- Candidates must have successfully completed the PALS Provider Course

About Our San Diego PALS Instructor Training Course
Our PALS Instructor Course in San Diego is a comprehensive, blended-learning, multidisciplinary program that provides students the skills necessary to become a PALS Instructor. Instructor Candidates must complete the online portion, followed by the hands-on classroom based course.
The online portion of the course contains both core content and discipline-specific modules to help prepare the Instructor Candidates. In the classroom, teachers will continue preparing instructor candidates to become AHA instructors by focusing on the in-depth material about the PALS discipline that candidates will be teaching.
The classroom portion includes instruction, practice, and an exam, allowing instructor candidates to successfully use their instructor materials and skills.
