				About Course Options
We have six ACLS course options at our Tustin, Orange County location:

Option 1: ACLS Full Course

Classroom training for first time or students with expired cards.
Class average 8-9 Hours, with 2.5 hours of pre-course work.
CEUs available for most healthcare professions

Option 2: ACLS Update / Renewal Course

Classroom training for students with an unexpired card.
Class average 6 Hours, with 2.5 hours of pre-course work.
CEUs available for most healthcare professions

Option 3: ACLS Online Fast-Track

Online and in-person hybrid for new or renewing students
Includes online access (4 hrs) and instructor-led skills testing (1.5 hrs)
Online access provided in confirmation email
Refunds not available for Fast-Track Courses

Option 4: 1Stop Station (DIY Certification)

Online and in-person hybrid for new or renewing students
Includes online access (4 hrs) and 1Stop Station skills testing (30 mins)

Option 5: Skills Testing Only

ACLS HeartCode Completion Certificate required (access not included)

				Mandatory Pre-Course Requirements
The AHA requires all students taking ACLS to complete the Pre-Course Self-Assessment and Precourse Work.

After registration students will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to do the Pre-Course Work.
You can take the exam over until a passing grade is achieved.
You MUST print or email a copy of your precourse certificate with your name on it before entering the class. If emailing please send a copy to: info@expresstraining.com.

				Who should take this course?

Our ACLS course is designed for healthcare workers who direct or participate in the resuscitation of a patient. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, and paramedics.

				What is the Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course?
				ACLS builds on the foundation of BLS and is appropriate for healthcare workers who may be called on to participate in an adult resuscitation. In addition to responding to cardiac arrest and post-arrest, participants learn to identify and treat early signs of cardiac complications to prevent progression to cardiac arrest.
			
				
				
				
				
				What are the course completion requirements for ACLS?
				ACLS certification is given to students who successfully complete the 50-question ACLS exam with a passing score of 84% and can function appropriately in various team scenarios.
			
				
				
				
				
				How long does it typically take to complete the ACLS course?

				Is an AHA course completion card issued upon successful completion of the Tustin, Orange County ACLS course?
				Yes, students completing the course are issued their AHA ACLS certification card immediately at the end of the course.
			
				
				
				
				
				Does the Tustin ACLS course have any prerequisites?
				Yes, to reduce Tustin ACLS class time, students are required to watch several course videos and complete the pre-course self-assessment prior to attending the in-person class. Pre-course work instructions are provided in the registration confirmation email.
			
				
				
				
				
				Are credits for continuing education (CE/CME) available for the Tustin classroom-based ACLS course?
				We issue 10 hours for the full course and 6 hours for the renewal course of CE Credit to eligible professionals.
