The Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) introduces the healthcare professional to the concepts and basic skills needed during neonatal resuscitation. NRP uses an evidence-based approach to newborn resuscitation. The course teaches causes, prevention and  management of neonatal complications caused from mild to severe asphyxia. It is designed to  help develop optimal knowledge and skills healthcare professionals need during a resuscitation. NRP Course - $125. 

NRP Course Structure

STEP ONE: Study and Prepare (Before Course)
Neonatal Resuscitation, 7th edition at  aap.org/bookstore
The textbooks is not included in the course registration fee.

STEP TWOComplete the Online Requirements (Before Course)
Complete the online requirements consist of two 25 question exams (Unlimited Attempts) and several eSimulation cases at  www.aap.org/nrp ($33)
Print your online completion certificate and bring to the course.
The online exam cost is not included in the course fee.

STEP THREE: Attend the Course (Register Here)
The course is hands-on and usually lasts 2-3 hours and costs $125. 

Continuing Education

Express Training Solutions is an approved BRN provider for Continuing Education. Participants may earn up to 3 hours of Continuing Education Credit for the Certification Course. Additional Continuing Education credit is available, up to 9.0 hours, for completion of the self-study portion and online portion from the American Acadamy of Pediatrics.
